Healthy Fruits

Fruits  taste good and are a healthy snack that can replace cookies, candy, and junk.  A juicy tangerine or apple makes a great snack alone but tastes even better dressed up in a fruit salad.  I would like to share this simple fruit salad recipe.

Fruit Salad

2 tangerines peeled and in slices

2 apples, diced

3 Tablespoons shredded coconut

1/2 cup chopped pecans

1 cup miniature marshmallows

1 tsp sugar

2 Tablespoons canned evaporated milk

Combine all ingredients in a bowl and toss.  Serve chilled.

When you feel a sweet tooth coming on, whip up this simple fruit salad and enjoy.  It makes its own juice and the canned milk makes it creamy.

Seal this fruit salad in a bowl and enjoy it the second day as well.
