National Wear Red Day is Feb 6th

Published by jober at 10:38 pm under Uncategorized Edit This

Friday is the National Heart Association’s National Wear Red Day.  Heart disease is the number one killer of women a well as men in America right now and wearing red on Friday is meant to show support for women’s heart disease awareness.

The red dress is the national symbol for women and heart disease awareness but anything red will do.  A red shirt, red scarf, or one of the special anniversary red dress pins.

Events held in celebration of National Wear Red Day are meant to inspire women to protect their heart health.

Heart healthy tips include regular exercise, a balanced diet low in unhealthy fats, and stopping smoking.

Slip on that red blouse or red tie Friday and show your support!
